DJD Cambodia Ministries, Inc. is a Texas non-profit corporation. DJD stands for the Khmer (Cambodian language) words: Doungjet, Jaung, Daiy, which translated are heart, legs, hands. Heart for God and the Cambodian people, legs to go and hands to serve God by serving the Cambodian people. DJD’s purpose is to provide support for ministries and projects in Cambodia whose mission is to improve the spiritual, educational, economic, and physical condition of the people in Cambodia. DJD was formed in 2010 by Rindo Nong, President and Director, Bryans Fitzhugh, Secretary – Treasurer and Director and former Director John Forsythe. In 2016, Natalie Yarnell was added as a Director.
DJD coordinates their ministries with the Battambang Baptist Association and its member churches. The Association Committee assists DJD in identifying ministry needs, developing plans to meet those needs, and providing leadership in carrying out DJD’s ministries. This enables DJD’s ministries to be ongoing and not dependent on DJD officers and directors presence.
